Hey we have some fancy new scissor from the good doctor. Dr. Slick has done it again making another great set of tools. Dr. slick is known for its precision tools put out by the Dr. High. I hear they were designed so if you dropped them in the field you can easily find them. I am not sure of that as mine just sit at my desk but the theory seems sound. The prism line is finished with a titanium nitrate process that changes the surfaces color.

Prism finished tools now include:

scissors

arrow scissors – 3.5″

all purpose scissors – 4″

hair scissors – 4.5″

Hemostats

Clamp – 5″

Spring Creek Clamp – 5″

Scissor Clamp – 5.2″

All I want for christmas is an Ekich Automatic Bobbin! Santa laughs “you’ll shoot your eye out! Kid” Well Ekich has made something a little different an automatic bobbin – No. It will not automatically tie flies for you or make your flies more attractive to fish. What it does do is provides you with better thread control and eliminates the need to manually rewind excess thread. It uses a constant force spring that allows you to balance it against the wait of the bobbin. So you can suspend it at any point and it keeps conatant tension on the thread so no slack. It comes in 2 sizes currently a 20mm and 35mm tube. 2 types of tips are also available as well stainless steal and ceramic. Thats pretty cool but I am not sure I would bother using this one. The retail pricing is pretty high on this one $90 for a bobbin!
